Website Creation
Website creation has changed over the years. Once, only developers or people with coding skills could build a website but now there are platforms and systems that many more people can use. Before embarking on a web project, you should be able to answer what it is you want the website to do? Only then can we get started.
I’m ready to help you with creating your website, bringing your vision to life and giving you full control over your digital presence. From design to content, there’s a lot to consider and with my experience using multiple platforms, we’ll find the best way to make your brand look and feel its authentic self.
Website Creation Gives You Full Control
With a website, you’re in control. You decide the look and the content, as well as the functionality. You can manage and update each aspect of a website as needed, which isn’t always possible if you rely on social media platforms or marketplaces. Indeed, using Etsy or eBay for your sales ties you to their rules and fees when there might be better options.
In truth, relying on a combination of platforms and presences is the best option, but as you look to establish your brand and grow your audience, having a website you control gives them a place to find you that won’t vanish by mistake.
I want to note that I’m not a developer, so I cannot code you custom designs and features. I focus on using the tools that are available to give you a sleek and stylish website that is easy to use and lets your audience do what you want them to.
Understand the Purpose of Your Website
Before starting website creation, we need to know what you want to achieve. There’s no point in paying thousands for a website that can do a bunch of things you won’t use.
If you have products to sell, the focus should be on making that process as easy possible, for example. We’ll identify what your goals are and the most suitable options for your websiteright from the start. Knowing the purpose of your website early makes the project smoother.
Ultimately, a website is going to be with you for a long time. It’ll grow with you and reflect who you are.

Website Creation FAQs
A valid question, and one that really depends on your situation. If you’re starting out and relying on social media, then perhaps not – at this stage.
Very quickly, though, if you want to grow and reach a larger audience, website creation will quickly rise on your list of priorities. Relying on social media or platforms like Etsy means you pay their costs and follow their rules, which might help you grow. Your own website gives you control of your future, from design to experience to content.
Even small businesses can benefit greatly from a website.
Website creation costs vary depending on what the project involves. Some websites are simple to set up, others take more work. Ecommerce websites might have a lot of products to add, and that impacts the cost. All of these details will be discussed before work begins.
How long is a piece of string? Website creation can be quick for small projects or it takes weeks and months for larger, complex ones. Once I have an idea of what you’re looking to achieve, I’ll provide timeframes. This might involve splitting the project into phases.
I try to include search engine optimisations every time I’m involved in website creation. A digital platform is great but it won’t bring any organic traffic without the right targeting. This has an impact on the time and cost of a project.
That said, I’m aware budgets are tight. In some cases, it’s more financially viable to build the website and optimise later. We’ll discuss all options when scoping the work.
Nope! I’m aware that I don’t have the coding skills or technical expertise to make websites from scratch, but I know how to use various platforms, apps, and plugins to create a good experience for users. Because of this, I’m very clear about what I can provide, and if I can’t help you I’ll let you know very quickly.
